A poem about a magic carpet - a very special kind of magic carpet, to be sure ...

I was just uploading a piece of art called Angel City when this poem came to me.

And in the middle of writing it, the postman knocked on the door and delivered a parcel with opalite angels  - wonderful timing :-)

I asked for a metasong to start off the new decade on the 1st of the 1st, 2011, and duely, The Time Chamaeleon was delivered to me.

As is the case with classic metasong, it wants to be spoken and heard rather than just read; so if you read the Time Chamaeleon out aloud, you will get more of a sense what it is about and why it is here ...

A magic wedding poem, that doubles as a magic love spell.

Two Dragons is the perfect poem for a pagan wedding ceremony such as handfasting.

Whilst working on a catalogue of paintings, in which I have added as a detail if there is a poem or a story to go with the painting, I came across the German poem Zaubervogel.

I was going to add it to the catalogue as was, but then decided to translate the German poem into English. As I'm the author, and therefore know "what I was trying to say" (!) this was easy and interesting too.

Here is the original German poem Der Zaubervogel and my translation, the Magic Bird. Oh, and the painting. Of course ... :-)

The original poem "Oceans of Energy" came about because I had to write a course on energy healing for animals and it was such a vast subject, such a big task, that I felt lost. I needed an inspiration.

In these moments, I turn to my energy mind for help and I said, "Give me something to understand energy, what it means, what it is, and how we can use it ..."

The result was this poem, exactly how it stands, no changes, no edits, and this poem then went on to also become the spirit and dedication for EmoTrance energy magic, as well as the title for the first book on EmoTrance which is also called Oceans of Energy.

Poetry personification is a wonderful thing - as old as shamans dancing, "becoming" the bear, the horse, the eagle and in so doing, taking a different point of view, taking a different perspective, learning something important, having an amazing experience. Personification exercises are amongst the most interesting poetry exercises there are - by all means, have a go! This is mine today, I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading the personification poem "I am the wind" :-)
